Services

Heating and cooling work for Calgary houses.

Repair, replacement, and maintenance. Tell us the equipment and the symptom and we will say whether it is a service call or a quote.

Furnace repair

Most Calgary homes still heat with a forced-air furnace. When it stops, the house drops temperature fast.

  • No heat, or heat that cuts in and out
  • A blower that runs without warming the rooms
  • Burning smells, rattling, or a burner that will not light
  • A thermostat calling for heat and nothing happening

Request furnace service

Furnace replacement

We replace furnaces that are past a sensible repair: cracked heat exchangers, repeated failures, or equipment that cannot keep the house warm. You get the scope and the price before anything is ordered.

Air conditioning

Repair and installation for central air. Calgary cooling season is shorter than the heating season, and a neglected unit shows it on the first hot week.

  • Air from the vents is not cold
  • The outdoor unit is iced over or will not start
  • The breaker trips when the air conditioner runs
  • The house needs a new system, not another recharge

Heat pumps

A heat pump heats and cools. In Calgary it may stand alone or run with a furnace for the coldest stretches. We look at the house, the ducts, and the electrical service before recommending one.

Boilers

Some older Calgary homes heat with hot water. We repair and replace boilers and look at the obvious circulation problems that leave a room cold.

Thermostats

A wrong thermostat, a dead battery, or a bad wire can look like a dead furnace. We replace thermostats and sort the control wiring when that is the actual fault.

Maintenance

Book a furnace checkup in the fall and an air conditioner checkup in the spring. The visit is a clean, a safety check, and a list of what is worn before it fails in January or July.

Book maintenance

Gas smell or a carbon monoxide alarm.

Get everyone out and call 911 or your gas utility. That is not a booking for the next available heating visit.
